Students and staff who enjoy tinkering and repair are welcome and needed to lead others through the process of troubleshooting and repairing problems with devices, both at the permanent location (SB3) and at pop-up clinics. If you are interested in learning more, fill our our contact form or send an email to email@example.com, and Madeleine Wolske, the intrepid Gadget Garage Graduate Research Assistant, will contact you about becoming part of the Fixing Illini!
Please note that you don’t have to be technically inclined to volunteer with us! If you have skills in marketing, social media, technical writing, networking and outreach, or any area that could help us build a community of fixers who care about product durability and sustainability, then we want you! Check out our volunteer flyer for more information.
